SNOW ANGELS

Although the two young women featured on this page are not technically "famous" people, their stories have moved us deeply.  Both were well-liked, excellent students with loving families, who were torn from the world seemingly by caprice.  They were living happy, "ordinary" lives with wonderful futures when the callousness of others changed everything in an instant.

TYESHA EDWARDS

Tyesha Edwards was sitting at her family's dining room table doing her homework. when a stray bullet struck and killed her.  The bullet was fired by a gang member shooting at a rival gang member.  The responsible party was arrested and convicted of first-degree murder. He was sentenced to life in prison.  He recently appealed, but the appeal was denied.

How difficult it must be for their families to leave them in the Winter.  It must seem so sad and lonely for them out there.
