Composer.  Spent a number of years with Ringling Brothers' Barnum and Bailey Circus during which time he composed their theme song.  Known as America's "March King" Karl wrote hundreds of marches, waltzes, and various other pieces of music.  King spent the last fifty years of his life conducting the Fort Dodge Municipal Band.
