Originally, nine of the
bodies remained unidentified.One was eventually
identified as Timothy McCoy,leaving eight Gacy
victims unidentified. Gacy's victims ranged in

One of the saddest parts of
this story is indeed the remaining eight victims who
have not been claimed. Somewhere there are
eight families who will never know what happened to
their son, or their brother. Even sadder, some
may not even care. However, the city of
Chicago decided to remember these young men and boys
by giving each a proper burial. The eight
are interred in eight different cemeteries in the
area with a headstone like the one below.
