THE ORIGINAL JAMES FAMILY FARM

KEARNEY, MISSOURI

Front View.  The original house was purchased by Clay County Missouri from the

James family and made into a museum which hales visitors from around the world.

Back View.  Jesse James' original grave was in the spot where the

photographer would be standing.  James' mother, Zerelda Samuel, would hold

nearly 24 hour vigils, watching out of her bedroom window to keep grave robbers

from trying to steal her son's body.

Jesse James' original gravesite.   The tombstone is a replica of the original

stone which had been chiseled to nothing by souvenir seekers.

His body was moved from this location to Mount Olivet Cemetery in 1905

to be buried with the rest of his family.

Clear reference to Jesse James' killer - Bob Ford.
