HARRY LEON COLLINS

APRIL 27, 1920 - MAY 3, 1985

Famous magician and life-long spokesman for the Frito Lay Companies.  Collins was also hero and inspiration to fellow prestidigitator Lance Burton.  Collins' grave in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky is adorned with his larger than life statue created by sculptor Barney Bright who also now resides in Cave Hill.  The tablet over Harry Collins grave has a somewhat mawkish poem inscribed on it about the "twinkle in his eye" and how he was "so loved by children."
