Groundbreaking comedic television performer and producer. Kovacs was married to actress Edie Adams with whom he had daughter Mia. He had two daughters from a previous marriage - Elizabeth (Bette) and Kippie.  Ernie Kovacs and his daughter Mia each died at an early age in tragic automobile accidents.  Daughter Kippie died from a long illness.  The three, along with Edie Adams, are buried together just outside of The Court of Remembrance.  The remaining daughter, Bette, is still living.
