Businessman and entrepreneur who amassed a fortune through the citrus industry. Upon selling off his business he created the philanthropic Dr. Phillips Foundation. Many establishments and locations in the Orlando area bear his name, such as Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Dr. Phillips High School, and the community of Dr. Phillips, Florida to name a few. Even the cemetery in which he is buried is named in his honor. |
