Baby Boomers remember Family Affair quite well. It was a gentle show where everyone spoke softly and listened to what everyone else had to say - especially the most understanding parental figure of all time - Uncle Bill. Buffy and Jody were sweet kids who opted for quiet reflection over tantrums when things didn't go their way. Mr. French's distinguished reserve was often left in shambles by the charms of the twins. And Sissy's face was just a little bit too square. |

Anissa struggled for acting parts after Family Affair. She did try out for the role of Regan in The Exorcist, but was beat out by Linda Blair. Anissa fell into the wrong California crowd and died of a massive drug overdose on August 28th, 1976. ASHES: Scattered at sea |
